Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year. You get to enjoy all of your favorite foods of Christmas but without all of the hustle and bustle of trimming trees, shopping, mail packages and travel. It is a peaceful time when you gather with your family or close friends to look back over the year and be thankful for the blessings that have been bestowed on you this year. I have so much to be thankful for this year, and I for one love a good tradition. Last year we used these printables to make a chain where everyone wrote something they were thankful for. They also make excellent napkin rings!
This year our centerpiece will be the Thankful Tree. Everyone will write on cute scraps of paper something or someone they are thankful for,
and it will make a beautiful statement of what Thanksgiving truly means.
And it is so easy to make your Thanksgiving table resemble the feel of the season and look festive as you join together around the turkey.
Take a look at some simple ways to dress up your table.
Just simple everyday china accented with a beautiful napkin with a single leaf tied with velvet ribbon. So easy but elegant.
Love this simple leaf with printed names as a placecard! Printable here.
So cute, printable placecards from Martha. So easy, and super quick to whip out!
Another super cute easy to do idea. Just attach a name tag to a mini pumpkin for a stylish place card and take away for your guests.
Just a few easy ideas to dress up your Thanksgiving table and create a warm welcoming place for your guests to share a meal and enjoy sharing your memories of the past year, and the many things you have to be thankful for. I hope you find a little inspiration to do something quick and festive to add a fall touch to your Thanksgiving celebration.
